Linx hadn’t yet reached the age of 20 when, in 1985, his album "A Lover's Question", dedicated to author James Baldwin, and made with Pierre Van Dormael, Steve Coleman, Slide Hampton, Viktor Lazlo, Deborah Brown... made him known both in Europe and the USA. This album, reedited in 2000 on Label Bleu, received a unanimous welcome by the press.
Since some ten years David forms a duo with Diederik Wissels and together they enjoy an increasing succes amid press and public. In 2005 David was distinguished by the French secretary of culture with the title “Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres”, he received the “Grand Prix de l’Académie Charles Cros” for best jazz recording “One Heart, Three Voices” as well as numerous other signs of recognition such as several “best jazz sales” in France.
SINGER-COMPOSER-AUTHOR-PRODUCER AND
MULTI-INSTRUMENTALIST, David Linx will preside the 2007 edition with the same love and kindness for all singers as in 2006 and 2005.

Deborah Brown is one of our very great present-day vocalists.
Born in 1956 in Kansas City, she grew up in a musical environment and was still very young when she started performing in cabarets and later on tours.

This great jazz lady has brought the swing message in more than 45 countries all over the world and worked with such giants as Clark Terry, Slide Hampton, Johnny Griffin,
